Sam took on the job of building me a large birdcage that I could easily clean and manage despite recently acquired mobility restrictions. He succeeded brilliantly and I now have a beautiful cage and can keep all my budgies. Can highly recommend.

Steve replaced our guttering, downpipes and a bargeboard. It wasn’t a straightforward task as it’s an old property but he did an excellent job and carried out the work quickly and efficiently at a competitive price. I would highly recommend him.

Replied quickly and came within the time specified to quote. Were able to to the jobs the same day. Pleasant and polite workers who worked quickly to do all the jobs I asked for. However, it took me an hour or more to do the final tidying up ie putting tools away, mopping up the water and spatters in the garage , collecting cuttings and sweeping up. For the price I think this all should have been taken care of.

A good working relationship with your builder is essential and we definitely had that with Heyl Build. We agreed a price before the job started. Then we added to the job and each addition was quoted for so both parties knew where they were. The team worked hard through varying weather conditions and they were always polite. We are very happy with the end result and we would have no hesitation in recommending Heyl Build.

Pip is an excellent all rounder but is inclined to spend too much time on tasks if not supervised, which can be costly if employed on a day rate. In my experience, Pip should make more effort to separate his tools from others in order to avoid confusion of ownership.
