Other people quoted work which was over-the-top or wouldn't have solved the problem but John got right to the issue in a no-nonsense way. Couldn't get the original bricks as they are obsolete but managed to do a good job using some of the old ones and sourcing some others to fit in. Very happy with the result and highly recommend him.

I have had a disappointing service from this gentleman unfortunately he has not completed the work because we had disagreements about payment.He told he's rate is £1 per brick to lay, and in hes calculation was 370 bricks to build a bbq.We agreed to start in 2 days, he came late at 11.40am at about 4 pm when the work was nearing completion I counted the bricks and it was 220 so I said I owe £220 he got very angry and he left unfinished job I paid him £300 Next day had finish myself and clean mess he left
