I'd been trying for well over a year to get someone to fix my solar panel array by removing a broken panel, and either nobody was interested in repair jobs and ghosted me, or they said expensive scaffolding would be needed. I paid for new roof in 2017 with 25 years warranty. In November 2024 the roof felt apart. I made claim through my insurance company who appointed BVS surveyor to inspect the roof. Insurance claim was declined due to poor workmanship ( insufficient battens, not secureed dry verge, tiles and not enough felt). I asked Roofsmart honour their warranty but they refused saying that I paid cheap and now they charge 10k for new roof but who wants defective roof in the first place Now I need to take legal action.

"Unprepared" is how I describe this company. 1st, James didn't even have a pen to write the the job sheet. 2nd, Neither did he have one the next day to add the extra work that he persuaded me needed doing. 3rd, the scaffholders had no means of securing the ladder at the top, and so "borrowed" a bungy from me. 4th, they had no knives to cut the liner. Another "borrow", this time a stanly knife. 5th, - this review doesn't allow enough characters. My advice is don't use this company of unskilled "roofers"

I had new carpets fitted & needed 6 doors shaving because they weren't shutting properly any more. Dale did an excellent job & they are now all closing fine. It was actually quite a tricky task because most of them were heavy fire doors & 2 of them required re-hanging but Dale made short work of it & his communication was really good throughout & he also tidied up after himself. I would highly recommend Dale’s services & would happily employ him again.
