Tom came to skim my son's ceiling but because it had old artex and very uneven he decided to put a false ceiling in, board that and then skim it. Tom is a really friendly guy, kept showing me where he was up to in the job and was very tidy and did a great overall job at a good price. Within minutes of placing my ad, Stuart contacted me regarding coming to have a look at what precisely I needed doing and give me a quote. Karl was a nice guy, came up with a reasonable quote and worked through some modifications to the quote, however, I was unable to hire him as he refused to have any kind of written agreement / contract confirming the terms of the work. It’s a shame, because I wanted to work with Karl but wasn’t willing to spend so much money with nothing specific in writing.
