Initially felt Mervyn was great - quick to respond, worked quick, tidy and very personable. Unfortunately quickly after works were paid & completed we encountered problems with a toilet he installed and unfortunately it seems he does not stand by his work. Looking back at other reviews I can see this is a trend as he fails to respond . Disappointing as we had been highly recommending him and was considering him for other jobs but now have to pay another tradesman to fix his work.

Arranged with them to call to look at job and give me a quote. Got call to say he couldn’t come because he had a cough, but arranged to call a few days later. Never heard from him again. Absolutely useless.

Other jobs we regularly complete include full loft Conversions and replacement of old roof windows due to them becoming drafty or if they have been fitted for 25 years and over and need a upgrade. Tradesman came out to give a quote. Was advised I would be contacted by a painter about the staircase, I never heard from him. Contacted tradesman again, arranged a time in advance to complete job quoted for. Tradesman didn't come back to confirm, job not done.
