George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. I had a good, written quotation, to which they kept and which was not at all unreasonable. They will be given first refusal on any future roofing job I may have (which is not unlikely in my old house).

Job was to sand the floor of our flat and we set a price. After asking for more they guaranteed to finish for the extra price. A day later they pulled out of the job leaving it un finished. They said it was due to a black tar like substance. they said they had tried everything. My painter and decorator took a torch and scrapper and had it up in minutes. They had the wrong tools and seemed like first flooring job. After contacting asking to finish he said he would get back to me but failed to be reached.

Dave did a teriffic job clearing up my very overgrown garden and accomplished in just a few hours a job I had been ignoring for months. He was very prompt to reply to my posting and appeared in the garden just a couple of days later. He did such a good job he's coming back to build us a bike shed and sort out the flowerbeds.
