I was impressed with Tom's approach when he quoted to re-point and seal the water - damaged brickwork and to strip and re-paint the metal railings on the external stairs. The job started well. Due to unexpected personal circumstances, there were delays so the job took longer than expected. This wasn't a problem due to the nature of the work being outside and Tom kept me informed when he was able to be here and what he planned to do each time. A bit rushed towards the end. Nick will probably visit your home within a couple of hours of posting the job (making you feel confident that your job will be finished as quickly as you need it to be) send you links to the materials to be purchased, ask for deposit and then stop all forms of communication. They will quote +/- £20 to the other tradesmen. Should be banned on this site.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by the Kierda Construction. We renovated our porch, toilet and bathroom (completely gutted). Quote was clear. They have completed everything in a timely manner. During the works I wasn't at home, but they kept me updated on everything. Very respectful of the property and high quality work done. Tony refurbished our bathroom with wet wall, a shower screen and a new front of bath. He was very quick in coming out to see the bathroom and gave us a decent price for the work, once accepted he came to complete the work quickly and professionally. He was fantastic, it was completed to a very high standard, when any problems came up with the materials provided he was quick to think around the problems and not let it halt the work, we will definitely use him again!

I am absolutely delighted with my new bathroom, it is like something in a luxury hotel and I cannot recommend Mariposa enough. I felt so cosetted, cared for and listened to the entire time. My installer was Steve and he is a master of bathroom fitting - he found quite a few oddities hidden in my existing bathroom and so had to adapt and be innovative to work around them. His work was immaculate and he is one of the tidiest people I have ever had here doing work for me.

Good Contractor...we are using LK Designs again for our next bathroom refurbishment.
Our quote was higher than others as we quoted to coat the stairs three times with a high quality varnish because they were in such a bad way, however the customer did not want to pay for this so we kindly matched the other quote, and this was only to put one coat of mid range varnish on. As with all previously painted low grade pine to achieve a good even finish you need to build on the layers and this customer did not want to pay for this. On finishing this job we had advised the customer that additional coats were needed and offered to do them at a reduced price. The flooring as mentioned by the customer is good and we also matched a lower quote for this.
