Shah was so reliable, experienced and polite. He made suggestions that helped us without pressuring us into anything or imposing on us. The work was all carried out as agreed quickly and he worked long days to get it all done. The changes we made were added onto our bill at the end and were far lower than I had been expecting. So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. I'm very polite and hard working and I'm looking to win jobs on here as a way of building my company and gaining clients through reputation. I'm new to this site and I'm willing to put the effort in to get the jobs done right and honestly. The end result was outstading and carried out in a very professional manner. The space we were working with was awkward and there were no bedroom/ wardrobe specialists who could create something in the space we had. Dom had one initial site visit and took all measurements down before completeing the work off site. The wardrobes, drawers and shelves were then fitted in one day. What was created looks as though it has always been there which is superb given the space he had to work with. Well recommended.

Steve fitted some new bath taps and basin taps in our bathroom. He arrived exactly at the time agreed (the next day after quoting) and did an efficient job. He even cleared a blockage in the basin trap unasked. We found him to be very prompt, cheerful, friendly and helpful and would not hesitate to use him again.

Having left school with the determination to be the best painter and decorator possible, I went to St Albans college then on to a specialist wallpaper hanging and special effects course. I then went straight out into the world of self-employment. Although this was, (and still is) my preferred way to spend time I soon realised the tilers around me were earning more than I was. So, back to college I went to learn how to tile. Fast forward to 1990 when off I went again on my own. By 1992 I had a small team working with me on commercial and residential projects and now with over 30 years experience in the trade I know that it costs no more to give perfection than to give second best.... and that's what we offer. We have extensive experience with all sizes of tile from large format (2400 x 1200) to mosaics including all popular sized ceramics, natural stone and porcelain. We are quite happy taking on large floor areas down to small bathrooms. Whilst we pride ourselves in the quality of our workmanship we are extremely competitively priced. We recognise that you will live with the tiles you have chosen for many years. The way they are installed and the quality of the finish is vital. When it comes to bathroom refitting, because it is so stressful trying to organise all the trades needed for the job, we carry out the complete bathroom refurbishment works using our own plumbers and tilers (and decorator) to bring together the perfect finish.
We used Nick (arcitile) twice. On both occasions Nick viewed the jobs and we explained our requirements. He went away to work his quotes out, and then sent them to us. After the first job was completed, we were invoiced for more money than originally quoted. The same thing happened on the second job, this time there was an approximate increase of 40% from the original quote. We would NOT recommend this contractor to you.

Callum arrived on the day I contacted him, to replace a kitchen tap. Other plumbers were quoting 10 to 14 days before they could attend. He arrived early and carried out the replacement efficiently and confidently, leaving no mess or leaks when the job was finished. Only slight criticism was that his price was much higher than other quotes received.
