Shah was so reliable, experienced and polite. He made suggestions that helped us without pressuring us into anything or imposing on us. The work was all carried out as agreed quickly and he worked long days to get it all done. The changes we made were added onto our bill at the end and were far lower than I had been expecting. My name is Max Akkaya and my company started with plumbing and bathroom refurbishments after graduating from my NVQ level 2 course in Heating and Ventilation. In the last 20 years we have evolved into One Stop Design and Construction Ltd - a fully insured company that covers all aspects of home improvements such as loft conversions, extensions and bespoke refurbishments. I haven’t been on Rated People in a while as I have got all my work through recommendations, however I recently moved to Surrey so I am building my client base out here also. I’m straight forward, honest and pride myself to giving attention to the smallest of detail. We undertake small and last scale projects and work with a team to deliver loft conversions, extensions and bespoke refurbishments including all plumbing, electrical and gas needs.
Max provided a quote for a job to remove a wall and rebuild it further along, the job ended up being more complicated than planned (we moved some lighting, needed to level floors and ceilings and moving radiators) but Max was clear about the additional charges and provided a fair price. Max's communication was excellent and the cleanest builder I have met. I wouldn't hesitate getting Max to do further work or to recommend him to others.

We are a small faimily business with 18 years experience in the building industry. We emply 8 full time workers and cover every aspect of building from a little knock through to a big extension we do all our own ground works, brickwork to fitting a new roof, we even have our own landscaper for all the finishing touches when the job it complete.
