George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Janis was late for his initial appointment but did contact me in plenty of time and advised a new ETA. He looked at the issue and advised me of the plan to rectify and the cost. He was flexible working around my availability. He completed the job but I noticed that there was an issue so I contacted him and he came back quickly to rectify and then checked the following day to ensure all the problems had been solved. I am completely satisfied with his work and will definitely use again.

The gentleman that came was very friendly, diagnosed the problem in seconds, went to his van, got some lubricant and fixed the lock. He was in the house for about 15 mins. He said he had come from Leicester which I know is about an hour away. Now this is where I'm not sure. He charged me £60 which seems a lot for a 2 minute job. Obviously petrol, it wasn't an emergency. Is that normal price?

Poor work. Chemfix wasn't mixed properly for gallows brackets and didn't set for over a week. The joiner didn't even know which joists required additional strength and I had to tell him what to do. Would not recommend.
