Tom was not hired on this occasion for my posted job. I tried to remove/close the job post, but a glitch means I can not do so. I can only place a rating. It would be unfair to rate Tom as anything less than 5 stars as he did communicate a quote but wanted 50% up front. If I had not found a tradesman with immediate availability, it may well have worked out differently.

Tree and ground control carried out some general gardening work at my property. The job was to relay and flatten a lawn. This has turned out to be half an acre of thistles and other perrenial weeds. There is grass, but you cannot see it unless you look down through the thistles. When he left on 4/4 I was assured he would come the following week to move the rideon lawnmower he had left stranded in the garden. After 3 months, numerous phone calls and emails later I am still waiting. I would definitely not recommend.

He charged me £800 for 3 hour's work. Got the front garden nicely sorted out but only removed the leaves from the back garden, leaving the weeds untouched. When I looked at his estimate, that was all he had said he would do, in spite of my agreeing verbally to £800 to sort out the whole garden. Be careful!
