Tim and Adam arrived bang on time at 7:30 am. Very friendly and did exactly what we had agreed beforehand. He actually gave me a small reduction on the quoted price as he didn't use all the material he had quoted for. The job took longer than Tim had anticipated (some tricky carpentry required) but they worked on through to complete it in one day, as promised. They also cleared up nicely at the end and took away all the debris. Our summer house should now last another 20 years at least!

Our mock Georgian porch was weather beaten and the base was rotten in one side. The team rubbed down the existing paint and filled and removed the rotten wooden base in preparation before putting on undercoat. They replaced the rotten section and prepared that ahead of finally putting top coat on. The result is that our porch looks brand new - ann anmazing transformation and should hold out now for another 50 years! I asked Jays to remove and replace some old cladding and being impressed with their work subsequently asked them to paint the rendered parts of my house. One wall was in particularly poor repair and need complete removal of the old render, stabilisation and repair and re-rendering. All the work was done thoroughly, with attention to detail by a very hard working and cheerful team. At every stage in the proceedings I felt in control. The result is excellent. I highly recommend them.
So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. Fantastic service from Cristian - was quick to respond to the initial request, I sent him some photos and he quoted straight away, and then was here 3 days from making the request. Extremely pleasant guy who clearly knew what he was doing and from start to finish I couldn't be happier. He also fitted a chimmney cowl that I had whilst up on the roof as part of his original quote. If you want someone to do a great job, will leave the place spotless and DON'T want a dodgey roofer then he's your man.
Craig did a fantastic job fitting the french doors that we had bought, we we're told by another builder that they wouldn't fit ! But Craig did such a good job.
