Job was to sand the floor of our flat and we set a price. After asking for more they guaranteed to finish for the extra price. A day later they pulled out of the job leaving it un finished. They said it was due to a black tar like substance. they said they had tried everything. My painter and decorator took a torch and scrapper and had it up in minutes. They had the wrong tools and seemed like first flooring job. After contacting asking to finish he said he would get back to me but failed to be reached.

Tony and his team just completed a small kitchen extension which transformed our house. Our cramped dark kitchen is now an airy welcoming space. Please listen to me and Catherine! Ahmad promised everything initially, but once work began, it was clear he lacked any kind of skill. His work was extremely poor, and attempts to fix it failed. He is now ignoring my solicitor and has deregistered his business email to hide. I am taking him to court to recoup my money and the cost of fixing his work. I’ve been told he didn't pay his laborers and fled to Sweden, so I will use European small claims to enforce the debt instead.

Brendon did an excellent job of removing old blinds and replacing them with new ones. He replied instantly to my request, came round with a quote in a day, and undertook the work the next day. He was punctual, polite and helpful, and fixed an extra problem with the window catch while he was here. I would certainly recommend him (indeed, I am now likely to hire him myself for other jobs)
