You can see why Smith & Son get a good rating. You get a friendly builder that does a good job. We employed him to fit a steel beam and a door lintel. The site was tidied up on completion and advice was given about covering the beam and contacting building control. Thanks Ian and team, great job, thoroughly recommended.

Emy has been utterly brilliant. Completely saved me in a hugely time pressured situation. Turned up first thing on the day after I placed the add. We had this work undertaken 6 months ago. We have since had work undertaken by 2 other electricians in the house. Both electricians said the work undertaken by Mirek was both illegal and dangerous. We said we did not require a part P certificate to be issued as we didn't intend to move but expected the work to at least be of that quality. Work has had to be completely re-done. Very disappointed.

I employed Simon to do extensive painting of my garden furniture and fences during the summer. He also kindly helped me with some carpentry work in the garden and some jobs indoors. He arrived on time each day or let me know if there would be a delay and why, the work he undertook was meticulous and he always cleared up before he left each evening and joy of joys no radio blaring! I cannot speak too highly of his conduct and willingness throughout and can strongly recommend him.

Fast work however great at time. We've noticed a lot of chipped tiles and missing grout. I've tried to patch up. Also uneven in places. I should have checked more clearly. They turn up.on time etc but check work after........more thoroughly than I did.
