Hiya my name Andy Gibson been doing painting and Decorating over 25 years . Time serve , Been doing a lot private work including new build , Old build , Commerial work i.e. housing assocaition , Empty voids , flats and houses , Outside works , we have all high ladders for those high bits . There are 2 of us who been working together for over 5 years now . And i just completed NVQ level 2 to keep up with the current todays in the painting and decorating health and safety laws .

I am a self employed tradesman, with over 18 years experience. I specializes in the wet trade (plastering, all types of rendering, dashing, screed floor and concrete work), I am also experience in wood flooring, tilling, slabbing etc.
Kyle renovated our kitchen ready for us to install kitchen units. He put up a new ceiling and plastered the walls. He laid a new floor and told us that he had levelled it for tiles. Floor has not been levelled properly. There is a raised area in the middle of the floor. We can’t tile without relaying. Kyle damaged our UPVC back door, there’s a hole in it. Ceiling has a gap, I can see through to the joists. Can’t contact Kyle, won’t answer phone or message on here.

Actually, didn't do the job I posted on Rated people, but carried out other work for me. This was to a good enough standard that I have asked to be quoted on getting more work done along the lines of what was ordinarily asked for.
These guys came around to survey the job but did take a long time to present their quote. I was also sceptical at them deciding the internal wall we wanted removing was not load bearing without doing any sort of check. The quote was well detailed and professionally presented but late. Also I thought they seemed rather cocky when speaking to us about the job.
Superb husband and wife team. Paul and Sam were here to get the job done professionally and that's exactly what they did. Reasonable quote inclusive of materials ( no nightmare shopping for me! ) Plenty of consultation and advice given throughout the job , Painting skills and materials used are very very good. Turned out to be a huge job in the end and project escalated which I was given full explanations and photo evidence of. Job timelines could have been better but could not fault work quality. Guys who carried out the work very polite and discussed what they were doing if anything needed consulting on to make sure I was happy.
