Very pleased with the work done, not quite finished yet but happy to pay the bill and await their return next week to complete works. Work done quickly and efficiently. Whilst it wasn't this tradesman, happy taps rang me to arrange a date and the work required. it was arranged for over 2 weeks later, happy days I thought- all sorted for when I could get a day off work. Having badgered for confirmation, the day before the engineer was due to arrive, I received a text saying they wouldn't be coming and if I wanted to rearrange then to get in touch otherwise the job was closed. Eri was very punctual and efficient. He worked quivkly and cleanly and explained what he had done. Will certainly be asking him to service my boiler again next year. (Apologies to him for delay in posting rating, but family crisis).

I didn't have the work done. They came across as unprofessional and pushy. I can't coment on the quality of the work but I can coment on the quote process. Just verbal price. When I pushed for an email quote I just got the price again and little else. Nothing about what they were going to do as part of the job. I expect better. The last few tradesmen I have had on Rated have been excellent full written quotes and professional from the start. These guys even had to ask if they could borrow a tape measure!
Ecotech carried out a complete bathroom installation. At the time i wasn't completely happy with the tiling - although a few years on, the tiles haven't dropped off! One or two issues where certain activities were carried out without checking with me first but in general everything was ok

He did phone ahead to say he was 15 minutes away, but it was actually an hour. Everything else was OK, got a quote, and he answered the questions I asked.

Guy rang up and arranged a time and date to survey and quote. Waited for over an hour. Rang him twice then gave up, so rang him a third time and told him not to bother. Wasted my time which I took off of work.

I could not recommend Chris to anyone. He consistantly made basic errors. He originally estimated a 5 day period to completion, but actually took an entire month. He damaged the bath, the vanity unit, the wall lights, the door, the outside render and the landing carpet! Our house was frequently left in an unacceptable condition at the end of day. The whole process was very stressful and we will now have to have the floor relayed due to leaking pipes which he installed.
Didnt put quote in writng and it wasnt a verbal price I was prepared to accept

He quoted £100,000 to do the job in 6 weeks & promised it would be stress free, At 12 weeks in He was told I no longer wanted him to complete the job as I received an electric shock from a socket that was left as a bare cable protruding from the wall. He blamed everybody else then fired the only two decent builders as he held them responsible. Even though I had paid the third stage payment a day previous, I was too distressed and my health was declining due to the anxiety and stress he had caused. Avoid!!
