The gentleman that came was very friendly, diagnosed the problem in seconds, went to his van, got some lubricant and fixed the lock. He was in the house for about 15 mins. He said he had come from Leicester which I know is about an hour away. Now this is where I'm not sure. He charged me £60 which seems a lot for a 2 minute job. Obviously petrol, it wasn't an emergency. Is that normal price?

They replied quickly, came when said and sent me a written quote by email. They came on the day they said they would and worked into the evening with flood lights. They came back next day to clean up. I have however discovered they took a panel off our Decking and did not put it back. I have messaged them but no reply. So five stars for quote and timing. I would give less for the after service. We will however be getting them back later in the year for a shed/garden house construction.

This job was a complete and complicated rewire of a large old farmhouse, including various extras such as security alarm, boiler and underfloor heating controls and renovating an old Victorian lantern. Chris has done an excellent job, and even though it turned out to be more awkward than he expected (beams in unusual places, ceilings that came down, boiler wiring being non-standard etc) he honoured the original quote and took the time to make sure it was done properly. The standard of work is very good and Chris perseveres with jobs until he is satisfied with the result. An example is the great care he took with the positioning of the kitchen lights. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
I would highly recommend Kenny, as he is a reliable, professional builder/carpenter, who has just completed work on my home which involved knocking a wall down, re-fitted kitchen and new floor throughout the downstairs.

Matt and his colleagues (Phil and Dave) were very friendly and professional. An initial quote was given on the phone and then a site visit to discuss options and needs. We had the pyronix enforcer system installed within a week of posting. They were reliable, informative and cleaned up after the job. Matt was very patient in explaining the system and the options and explained they try to source products locally. The service felt personal and was made to feel like a valued customer.
