Despite it being after 1800 when I posted the job on this site, two minutes later, I had a phone call from D R Electrical Services and had arranged for him to call round the next morning. The work didn't go ahead as there was some dispute on liability of the cost of the repairs between the buyer and the seller. I just got a quote from the trade person. Alistair is very reliable person and I will be very happy to contact him for any future electrical repairs. thanks
