Darren provided practical solutions to an unusual build, and a proper estimate. As the work was about to start the spec' changed a few times, and Darren was helpful with that. We agreed a new price and signed a straightforward agreement. Security was never an issue - we had no issue with giving Darren keys and access. He turned up when he said he would and always went through the issues of the day and the progress of the day on site and on the phone. The project has worked out really well, and it has been a very good working relationship. We have no hesitation in recommending Darren - he was helpful throughout, including managing the occassional curved ball. He runs work from a joinery led perspective, and has a wide range of understanding about the other trades and what should happen when. A pleasure to work with!

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Scott. I scheduled an appointment to have a boiler installed, but they stood me up not once, not twice, but three times! Each time, I was made to wait for hours with excuse after excuse about delays, only for them to never show up. What makes this even worse is that they knew I had other appointments afterward, yet they completely disregarded my time. Their lack of professionalism and respect for my schedule was appalling. We recently hired Igor from Golden Construction who did an excellent job installing our new bathroom. Igor was very accommodating to our needs, always cleaned up at the end of the day, and finished the work quickly without compromising on quality. What can I say? I was slightly sceptical and didn’t expect too much but I was very much mistaken. The service we received from these guys was A1. From entering the details onto the website I was contacted via email and text message within minutes. I was then contacted, within 15 minutes , by Ideal roofing and building to make an appointment for the very next morning. Two very friendly guys arrived as scheduled, did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price. The whole experience was actually a pleasure. Friendly, prompt, professional and reasonably priced. We cannot thank Richard enough for the great job he did building our conservatory, we love it! He completed it in the time he said and it has been finished to a high standard. Very reliable & good quality work - after being told by another tradesman this was going to be an awkward, lot more expensive job we were expecting the worst but the problem was sorted straight away & at a lot less cost!
