Tony arrived on time to provide an estimate for a shower repair. He rang in the evening to discuss the problem and offered a solution, as he had done some research on the internet. A replacement shower was not required, only a shower head to match existing make and model. Many thanks. I would be pleased to recommend this trades person.

James Morris did some structural work for us, converting our separate kitchen and lounge into an open-plan kitchen. He also converted a guest loo into a laundry and did some other minor renovation works. His customer service skills are outstanding and the quality of workmanship is excellent. He and his team have a very good work ethic and were very happy to work through weekends at our request to expedite the job. I would recommend him without reservation, and will definitely use him again in the future.

Rohan did a complete bathroom refurbishment for me. He was diligent and tidy and the final job looks great. He turned up every day early and worked the full day. He came back after completion to fix a snag too - so good aftercare. Good guy, would recommend him.

We recently hired Igor from Golden Construction who did an excellent job installing our new bathroom. Darren provided practical solutions to an unusual build, and a proper estimate. As the work was about to start the spec' changed a few times, and Darren was helpful with that. We agreed a new price and signed a straightforward agreement. Security was never an issue - we had no issue with giving Darren keys and access. He turned up when he said he would and always went through the issues of the day and the progress of the day on site and on the phone. The project has worked out really well, and it has been a very good working relationship. We have no hesitation in recommending Darren - he was helpful throughout, including managing the occassional curved ball. He runs work from a joinery led perspective, and has a wide range of understanding about the other trades and what should happen when. A pleasure to work with!

Ste, Scott, and Matt did a fantastic job updating my boiler. Brilliant job from start to finish. My apartment is quite complex to manoeuvre around, but everything was handled expertly and with great care, including staying a little overtime on the last day to make sure everything worked. Follow-up after the work to make sure the heating was working nicely. I really couldn't recommend them more highly.

Repaired garage roof. Applied base coat paint to existing worn felt to rain the water proof. Then applied a user layer of felt follow by a top coat of mineral felt. Good neat job, reasonable price and help advice given. Would recommend.

What can I say? I was slightly sceptical and didn’t expect too much but I was very much mistaken. The service we received from these guys was A1. From entering the details onto the website I was contacted via email and text message within minutes. I was then contacted, within 15 minutes , by Ideal roofing and building to make an appointment for the very next morning. Two very friendly guys arrived as scheduled, did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price. The whole experience was actually a pleasure. Friendly, prompt, professional and reasonably priced.
