I have been qualified for just over 5 years but have been in the IT industry previously and have always carried out lots of my own DIY work. We also have a Maintenance arm to the business due to looking after a lot of Air BnB and landlord run properties, so also offer a wide range of services in this area. These have included plumbing issues, blocked toilets and sinks, replacing thermostats or thermal rods for hearing systems, installation of routers and access points and TV brackets and shelves. I am a an electrician with over 17 years experience. I specialise in domestic, commercial and industrial work, ranging from smaller jobs such as new sockets and lights, to bigger projects such as rewires and fit outs. I completed a City and Guilds apprenticeship when I first started in 2008. I am an inspector and tester so can faultfind, rectify and commission electrical systems.
Sadly we arranged a day, no show, no contact nothing. I left a message (just one) asking to let me know if he was still coming. No response. Next day I received a message very early, no explanation, no apology! It wasn’t convenient for the job to be done the following day. Having discussed this in initial contact. Communication is key and when there is none confidence in the person goes. I was worried about the distance but was assured that it wasn’t an issue! Very disappointing experience.?
