We are a family run company that was started by our father over 60 years ago and we still maintain our perfect reputation to this day. Through our years of experience and reliability we have earned the trust of companies such as British Gas and Wren kitchens. Which we carry out the repair work and plastering side of operations around the South Coast and have done for many years. As time has progressed through being in the plastering trade for so long we have found ourselves branching into other areas such as landscaping and small building work, which we’re always happy to look at. The benefit to this is that throughout our years we have built up trusted relationships with pretty much every trade there is. Grant took great care with the floor prep - sealing skirting gaps and skimming low spots - before mixing and pouring the Mapei floor-levelling compound. There was zero mess and no splashing on the walls or skirting. Grant even returned the next day (after being paid) to help me move stuff back into the workshop. A genuinely nice guy - I will employ Grant's services again if the need arises.

Reasonable job but following issues. 1) Expensive maybe 30% higher than competition feel ripped off. 2) wall corners are showing large cracks after only 1 week. 3) I had to ask for them to clean up after themselves and also put dust sheets down at the start. 4) Offered hose so they could mix away from the house, but they refused and proceeded to mix holding bucket up the wall damaging my box hedging. 5) rendered walls have not been done below skirting board level, so i need to fill gaps myself in the wall.

S&D fixed our kitchen ceiling after a leak. Nicholas also painted the ceiling, painted our living room ceiling and installed tiles in our kitchen. All done in 2 days. I'm very pleased with the work done by John & Junior, nothing was too much trouble. There were a couple of unexpected problems which they dealt with quickly & calmly, and when I changed my mind about some things they didn't make me feel I was being a nuisance at all, but went out of their way to make sure the end resut was exactly what I wanted.
