Hi I have been a joiner for a little over 10 years now, I did my apprenticeship as a bench joiner so attention to detail is key for me. Using this person was the biggest mistake I ever made, he came to my house and promised me the earth Telling me how good he was and how good of a job he would do He told me he would rub down the walls and fill holes he didn’t he got gloss paint on my carpet going round the skirting boards and up the stairs and on the landing he got green paint from the alcoves on door frames on the other side of the room he splashed paint over three varnished doors and gloss on a carpet that was replaced at a cost to me

Reasonable job but following issues. 1) Expensive maybe 30% higher than competition feel ripped off. 2) wall corners are showing large cracks after only 1 week. 3) I had to ask for them to clean up after themselves and also put dust sheets down at the start. 4) Offered hose so they could mix away from the house, but they refused and proceeded to mix holding bucket up the wall damaging my box hedging. 5) rendered walls have not been done below skirting board level, so i need to fill gaps myself in the wall.
