First time I've engaged a tradesman after becoming a homeowner. Explained exactly what needed to be done and why (shows me evidence of various bit clogging up thanks to limescale) kept me informed when he was going to be late (this was down the snowy conditions) all work done on time and as expected things work so much easier now. We are a team of 2 carpenters, me (Dan) and my father in law (Danut).We cover most aspects of 1st and 2nd fix gaining experience in the years spent in industry. Both of us have NVQ Level 2 in carpentry, valid CSCS Card and public liability insurance.
I first hired Dan to fit some new doors at our house back in October 2024. It started with 6 doors, but then I added another 2. Dan sent me many supplier links to look at once we had decided what style of doors we wanted. This led onto several more projects. He always offered good and honest advice, was very helpful. The tradesperson explained me possible consequences of the job (since the wardrobe was attached to the ceiling, the floor and the walls I would need a decorator later on) before he started, was asking for my clarification on some details during the course of his work, Everything was done neatly, the tradesperson vacuumed the floor after he finished and removed the rubbish. I am definetely reecommending him.
