Been doing carpentry work for nearly 15years now from fitted wardrobes, alcove units, media walls to kitchens, roofs and staircases. Also have a lot of knowledge around sash windows and resin repairs for rotten timber as I use to work for a company specialising in sash windows. Have a big passion for wood and and a good eye for attention to detail. Take lots of pride in my finishing touches. Seeing the customer smile and happy makes me smile.
Avoid… please save yourself time and money and avoid this person. He was brought in to fit a window, and two doors and he’s fitted a window with a massive crack on it, without fitting it around (windows let’s a lot of air and noise in). He replaced once door and left it without handle, so unable to open and close. The other door he ordered and sits in my kitchen, but he did not fit. He took 3,000 and then refused to complete the work. *AVOID*

So glad I had Ion and builder John work on my project. Quality workmanship, hard working, punctual, thorough, good at implementing designs etc. Went from having a completely empty shell, to a new fully fitted bathroom, (THEN..) kitchen inc/appliances, engineered wood flooring throughout.. in 4 1/2 weeks.. Absolutely everything is spot on, and nothing was missed out. Assured of the thoroughness of work undertaken also, because Ion highlighted/solved a few things I hadn't been aware of as the job went along.

I did not hire this company. They came to assess the job and promised to send me an estimate by email. However, despite several messages to them from myself, they never had the courtesy to respond or send me a job estimate. Nick will probably visit your home within a couple of hours of posting the job (making you feel confident that your job will be finished as quickly as you need it to be) send you links to the materials to be purchased, ask for deposit and then stop all forms of communication. I've had over 10 years experience. Jobs I undertake are general handyman job like electrical, plumbing, central heating, power flushing central heating, painting decorating,kitchen and bathroom refit, fencing and groundworks. You can really do just about anything! How I normally charge is call out charge of £100 this covers the first hour then £50 an hour thereafter plus materials/ parking. Some services are charged at a different rate for example: emergency call out and weekend rate is normally higher rate. • power flush to central heating system charge is £450 including all chemicals and inhibitor to the system this covers six radiators any more than 6 radiators there is an extra charge at £100 per radiator extra .

Need to provide an update on my previous positive review. Robert installed the coat hangers to the wall, but after a closer inspection I found that he didn't install one coat hanger correctly and asked him to come back. He said he would come back, but failed to show up at the agreed date and time and not heard from him yet. I will now have to find somebody else to fix his mess.

True to his word, he came on time and with all the tools required to complete the job. We were a little concerned as we had never used the platform nor met him prior. But he required no supervision from us, carried on quietly and very neatly completed the job.
