Tom was not hired on this occasion for my posted job. I tried to remove/close the job post, but a glitch means I can not do so. I can only place a rating. It would be unfair to rate Tom as anything less than 5 stars as he did communicate a quote but wanted 50% up front. If I had not found a tradesman with immediate availability, it may well have worked out differently.

Enis Evlat is enthusiastic, personable, reliable and unpushy - unlike many of the other companies I asked to quote for my windows. Enis visited promptly in order to measure up and quote. He was thorough in his explanation and demonstration of the products and provided a competitive price and quick fitting timescale. The windows have now been succesfully fitted by his team. Silent Windows is to be well recommended as a good alternative to the big names.

When embarking on a large project (in this case a substantial house extension) you want to be reassured that as well as good communication throughout the job, the quality of work will be of the highest and that best efforts are made to bring the job in on time and as near as possible on budget. Hi my name is Sean from Sean Works Ltd. I have been roofing for over 22 years on many styles of roof from industrial to domestic. I have diversified in the last five years to modernising private properties in the local area. Some from single to HMO'S.
Sean was punctual, helpful, worked hard and did an excellent job, would recommend and will use again.
Whilst the job took longer than expected it cost me no more than the original quote. After 2 - 3 days it became clear that the problem had not been resolved however he has agreed to come back and install a new part to see if this solves the problem. He has said that he will only charge me for the part and not his time. At the end of day you cannot get it it right first time every time, however it is not often that you will get a tradesman who will keep working with you to solve a problem. So whilst the problem is not solved I am impressed by the reliability of the individual involved.
I would highly recommend Kenny, as he is a reliable, professional builder/carpenter, who has just completed work on my home which involved knocking a wall down, re-fitted kitchen and new floor throughout the downstairs.
