During his initial visit Caleb provided me with a detailed explanation of the issue and a quote for the work to be carried out. He was able to start within a couple of days which worked perfectly for me. I hired this company after a £1,500 quote from Anthony, who called the job "very bad." I trusted their rating. The two-hour job—replacing ridge tiles, repointing, and waste removal—ended up costing £1,800, including £300 VAT, which seemed high. Anthony promised an invoice but didn’t send it until I contacted Rated People. The invoice was flawed: no VAT number, my name misspelled, and an absurd total of £18,000. After admitting he couldn’t legally charge VAT, he offered a £300 refund, then stopped responding
