Happy with job overall, skilled caftmanship. After job issue: Glue has leaked onto door from frame and hardened until seen on day of instalation. Was advised it can be fixed and will attend to it when passing by. The rating will be changed once this is fixed or new door installed as I paid for new door. It is not my doing thaglue leaked.

Apparently another job ran long the first time, and an emergency call out the second. This firm sub contracted out the work to a local plumber/carpenter who I found difficult to contact. I needed a new shower as he said he couldn`t repair it. I selected the cheapest one as I am upgrading my bathroom later this year. He couldn`t get it straight away so I selected a dearer one which he fitted. He then told me he was going away the next day. If I hadn`t selected the dearer one I would still be waiting! There is some moisture leaking but I really don`t want him again so I`ll wait and see.

I completed a City and Guilds apprenticeship when I first started in 2008. I am an inspector and tester so can faultfind, rectify and commission electrical systems.
Sadly we arranged a day, no show, no contact nothing. I left a message (just one) asking to let me know if he was still coming. No response. Next day I received a message very early, no explanation, no apology! It wasn’t convenient for the job to be done the following day. Having discussed this in initial contact. Communication is key and when there is none confidence in the person goes. I was worried about the distance but was assured that it wasn’t an issue! Very disappointing experience.?
