I am a tradesman with 20+ years of experience in a broad range of construction skills. So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

We had a difficult cleaning job of a large house that involved extensive sanitary cleaning, hoarding and large furniture disposal. The team worked hard and thoroughly to get the job done in two days for a reasonable cost. For any further work we will absolutely going back to LDL!
I apologise for not having posted a rating before now. I thought I had already done so. Our loft conversion has transformed how we live.The cost was fair. The work was carried out to a good standard, quickly and tidily with minimum disruption. We are happy with the result. The "Boys" were friendly and easy to have about and full of good advice. The carpentry was good but I dont think he had fitted a felt roof b4(a bit out of his field). He changed the arranged day with very little notice which caused a little problem, otherwisw OK. SLMc.

He contacted me promptly, turned up when he said he would, stuck to his reasonable quote and completed the work in the time he said it would take him. He has gone through various options with us, and whilst replacing the slab, set right a couple of things that other tradesmen wouldn't have bothered with. Andy is also very personable.
