Turned out to be a huge job in the end and project escalated which I was given full explanations and photo evidence of. Job timelines could have been better but could not fault work quality. Worked very hard 1st day and offered him and mate more work however turned up one week later with mate at 9.45!! Other trades had been at the site from 7.30am it held up a number of jobs. Asked them to leave.... In fareness should have talked times with them however not sure who starts work at 9.45am?

I have concerns about the validity of this contractor; I have been advised by an independent contractor that the work is of a poor standard and will need to be rectified. I also have evidence of dishonesty. He told me he needed extra money to replace wooden battens but refused to provide a receipt. Ii have security cameras and it was clear that he had not delivered them. The following day he said that his contractors had 'cut off the rotten bits' and used concrete. I am taking legal action.
