After a year of unlucky experiences with very poor builders to build a porch, Darren offered to finish the job for a very reasonable price, and did not request money in advance. The job took two extra days, but the cost stayed the same. The final result was well worth the hassle. He worked alone, completing all the jobs I requested. He advised on the final painting that I wanted to do myself. He is a very nice and conscientious guy. I definitely recommend him.

The quote was honest and reasonable, the work was performed to a high standard (as evidenced by photoes taken during the repair that Shane sent me) and despite my having to put back the repair date by a month at very short notice, this caused no problem.
