George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. We have been building and renovating property since 2005. Over the years, we have predominantly focused on our own projects, but more recently, we are offering our services to clients. Our experience covers all aspects of property works.
Not a bad job overall. A few negatives: changed shower screen spec without consultation with the client. Did not provide floor protection initially. After first day, did not clear up or remove large amount of dust. During evening of first day, water pipe joint sprung a leak. Turned out a push-on connector was not fitted properly. Client had to turn the water supply off. Some finishing not good. Outside tap left at an inconvenient angle.

Mike and his team are really lovely people, nothing was too much trouble. Lots of comments from people passing and neighbours on how impressed they are with the speed of construction and the final results. They were very meticulous on leaving the site clean each day after work. I would definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to us them again.

George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. The company main reception also seems to be a virtual reception so you can never speak with anyone helpful

Matthew overcharged for materials. He told me he paid £40 at Screwfix for the spikes. I was shocked and asked for a copy of the receipt but he didn't provide it. I did pay him in cash for the work then checked the price at Screwfix. The cost is £29.99 not £40. As a result, I cannot recommend him.

My partner Sara is a very accomplished designer and painter and decorator. I have worked for the electricity board for many years and have industrial and home electrical nstallation experience. Showers, electric heating, underfloor heating, extra sockets, rewires, lighting, fuse boards, etc My son has just undertaken a 6 week plastering course, and with myself being self trained and helping, I am also trying to build up his business profile We are highly trustworthy and give a very fair price, We do not like or want to rip people off. I am happy to do emergency or weekend work. I also worked as a kitchen/bathroom fitter for John Lewis for a number of years and therefore am very conscientious of the quality of work expected from high-end clients. Job was a large dormer conversion. Paul was professional, knowledgable and helpful in defining plans and solutions to issues arising during the build. I would recommend him for similar projects.
Attended promptly but did not conplete all the work I asked for. Just changed a fuse and replaced a light switch. When I asked him to return to complete the work he was very reluctant to do so.
