There were lots of small aspects to this job which must have been a nuisance for Iain. Nevertheless, Iain worked through them, was great to deal with and, most importantly, did a good job.
Bloomin’ was founded in 2019, starting off as one business that has segmented into 2 sister company’s, garden maintenance & landscaping. The owner (myself - Michael) have worked in the industry for around about 3 years on a part time basis. I worked full-time as a engineer and done my gardening on nighttime’s and weekends when I had time to do so, whilst being a dad and a partner. After many moons and blood sweat and tears finally came the right time to set out and form into a business where I could offer my services to the public and other businesses. The business and myself fully believe In doing the very best job we can every time, no matter the situation. This approach, I believe has been a huge part in the success in formation of Bloomin’!! ‘Honest, Professional , responsible, quality service - everytime. We have spent a lot of time and effort sourcing the best training available for our artificial grass and paving that leaves us with City and Guilds recognition. There aren’t a lot of businesses that offer the same sort of piece of mind.
I hired Michael and his team for a significant garden renovation/landscaping project with outstanding results. The job was a complete en-suite shower room renovation. The existing fixtures and fittings were removed and a complete new suite installed. This requires alterations to one of the walls to increase the size of the room, and plasterwork in the en-suite and adjoining room. The wall and floor were completely tiled and new lighting, shower, basin and WC were fitted. The reason that Wayne got the job was that he appeared very professional from the outset. He arrived right on time, was knowledgeable, willing to provide ideas and provided a detailed written quote and work schedule. He allowed me the option of choosing my own materials, which he would then purchase for me to save me any hassle. He dealt with the suppliers and took delivery of the goods. One other confidence booster is the fact that he didn't take a penny until the job was complete and I was completely satisfied. Once the job began, minor changes to the specification weren't a problem. Wayne accepted changes, and provided verbal cost updates if the change had a cost impact. I would have to say that he is more than fair in terms of the additional cost of his labour and didn't take a mark-up on materials. Throughout the job he was very punctual, and his work ethic was exceptional. He obviously takes great pride in what he does, and it shows in the finished product. I would certainly recommend Wayne.
