This was one of those jobs that had various problems from the start. Having said that SMS did put them all right without complaint. The quote given for the clearing of the site AND the complete redesign was excellent. The original deadline was missed by a long way primarily due to misjudging the anomalies of the site (eg the underlying concrete was a lot thicker than anticipated). SMS were slow in clearing the site after the work was done - it took almost three weeks before the last of the rubble and debris were moved. Overall, I am pleased with the work done and the final result and would be prepared to use them again.

I wouldn't? recommend this firm as they promise to give you a disc containing still and moving pictures of your drains but they don't appear to know how to operate their camera. Consequently I only received a disc containing corrupted files, and when they re-took images of my drains i did not receive a file at all. And when I queried if a section of the relined drains was properly sealed they failed to return to my house. I recommend anyone not to part with any money until completely satisfied.

Ricardo has come twice to work for me - he is efficient, tidy, thoughtful about problems, cleared up afterwards and was very pleasant to deal with. When he had to cancel/postpone/or was going to be late he gave notice and made clear re-arrangements. When an element of the work to be done became urgent Ricardo came promptly to help out.

Countryside Trees are specialists in tree surgery with the most up to date training, because of this it allows us to have the most comprehensive insurances to cover our customers and staff, with no clauses such as height worked at. Compulsory qualification checks are also carried out. My Staff are also trained and experienced in working around live networks (Power lines), as well as being authorised to work near the network by UK Power Network. Countryside Trees will conduct a wildlife survey in line with BS8596 on the tree or hedge before they start the task to protect wildlife such as bats and nesting birds. My staff will adhere to the company environmental policy and the method of work statements. If you live within a conservation area or have trees with TPOs (Tree Preservation Orders) on them I can complete all legal applications in conjunction with your relevant council on your behalf, this is a legal requirement if either of these apply to your tree. We cannot recommend Jacob Gardens. We were patient when the owner’s personal circumstances meant it took months rather than weeks to complete our landscaping work, leaving us without a properly useable garden for much of the summer. However the final straw was him ghosting us after promising to replace our lawn, which died because he’d left equipment and supplies on it for months. What a disappointment.
