The job was impeccable and on time, everything made and delivered as discussed. I was impressed with the professionalism, politeness and punctuality of these chaps. So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

I had a cracked exposed aggregate driveway. To begin with he seemed confident he could make it look sympathetic to the rest of the drive. I knew it wouldn't look exactly the same but similar. Doing the work ,he used stones not gravel (the same aggregate as the drive). Some stones were left proud not properly embedded. When the concrete had set, the boarding was removed, the sides had no exposed aggregate as with the rest of the drive. After the work he avoided coming to see me to sort things out.

The work done was not the result I was expecting. I asked Jerry to come back as I wasn't satisfied . He did come back once but has not replied to me since. I was promised that I would have a beautiful flat lawn. I ended up £900 later with an area almost as bad as when he started. Jerry is a lovely man but his work was not as advertised.
