I hired Four Seasons to repoint the ridge tiles and fix the slipped tile. He spent 3 hours doing this and charged £450. He suggested that the roof needed to be cleaned. He spent 2 hours doing this and charged £350. Two days later I noticed that the slipped tile was still slipped. Four Seasons said it was a patch repair and he should have removed the tile. I did not receive a receipt as promised. I paid cash.
I’m a fully qualified plumber and drainage engineer with over 10 years’ experience in the trade. After completing my plumbing certification, I spent 6 years working as a drainage engineer, specialising in unblocking and repairing drainage systems, using CCTV equipment to identify defects, and providing detailed reports for customers. I’ve also installed UPVC drainage systems and septic tanks, giving me a wealth of experience in both domestic and commercial drainage work. Since 2020, I’ve expanded into the building sector, working on a range of projects including excavating footings, setting out for concrete, installing windows and doors, plasterboarding, and fitting bathrooms. I’ve also been involved in kitchen installations, flooring, and patio laying, with my main focus being plumbing, drainage, and groundworks. My approach is all about customer satisfaction, and I take pride in my attention to detail. I may take my time on certain tasks to make sure they’re completed to the highest standard. VERY DISSATISFIED. ROOF LEAKED LESS THAN AN HOUR AFTER FINISHING THE JOB. Tried many times to contact via email and left multiple phone messages. After nearly 4 months we still have a leaking roof. No point in offering a 12 month guarantee to your client if you never return their calls to fix shoddy workmanship.
