First time I've engaged a tradesman after becoming a homeowner. Explained exactly what needed to be done and why (shows me evidence of various bit clogging up thanks to limescale) kept me informed when he was going to be late (this was down the snowy conditions) all work done on time and as expected things work so much easier now. Left the flat in a good clean condition afterwards.

I had my timber casement windows refurbishment done by GW Windows and Glazing. They replaced all glass, sanded frames, new window furniture (fasteners and stays), putty and 3 coats of paint. I am extremely happy as the windows should last another 10 years before any future maintenance for 1/5th of the price for double glazing. Family run business with over 100 years experience combined between the team. Loved working with them. Extremely happy. Highly recommended for a reasonable quote.

What can I say about Colin. First impressions count. He arrived on time to give me a quote. Very pleasant, down to earth. My gut told me I was on to a winner. Guess what - I was right. The garden needed much TLC. It looks, dare I say it? Beautiful! I love what Colin has done with it - professional high quality work - I wouldn't expect anything less from Colin of course. I first hired Dan to fit some new doors at our house back in October 2024. It started with 6 doors, but then I added another 2. Dan sent me many supplier links to look at once we had decided what style of doors we wanted. This led onto several more projects. He always offered good and honest advice, was very helpful. He is conscientious and trustworthy, and his attention to detail is superb. I will be using Dan again as I have a number of projects which will require Dan’s skill and expertise.

Lewis and his team did a very good job with restoring bricks on my old Victorian house. Painted with all kind of paint by previous owner. Lewis knew exactly what is the best way to clean it off and the result exceeded my expectation. Very good re-pointing and prefect colour match of the mortar mixing 3 different types of sand I have never heard of. Also keeps you updated regarding progress and plan for the next day. Punctual and reliable. I am very happy with the result and will certainly use him again.
