I have been let down by quite a few gardeners in the last year. Toby of GotG was very proactive. He called to discuss my requirements and prices. Was punctual and did a great job to a very tired garden. I have now engaged them to maintain the garden for me and I'm kept fully informed with pics of the work done on the day we agreed. I would recommend Gardeners of the Galaxy without hesitation.

First time I've engaged a tradesman after becoming a homeowner. Explained exactly what needed to be done and why (shows me evidence of various bit clogging up thanks to limescale) kept me informed when he was going to be late (this was down the snowy conditions) all work done on time and as expected things work so much easier now. Left the flat in a good clean condition afterwards.

What can I say about Colin. First impressions count. He arrived on time to give me a quote. Very pleasant, down to earth. My gut told me I was on to a winner. Guess what - I was right. The garden needed much TLC. It looks, dare I say it? Beautiful! I love what Colin has done with it - professional high quality work - I wouldn't expect anything less from Colin of course. Colin comes highly recommended so don't be surprised if you are end up on a waiting list. It'll will be worth the wait!

I first hired Dan to fit some new doors at our house back in October 2024. It started with 6 doors, but then I added another 2. Dan sent me many supplier links to look at once we had decided what style of doors we wanted. This led onto several more projects. He always offered good and honest advice, was very helpful. He is conscientious and trustworthy, and his attention to detail is superb. I will be using Dan again as I have a number of projects which will require Dan’s skill and expertise.

Initially very responsive and offered to come out for a reasonable callout charge to see if they could fix (and only if they could fix it) but on the day when I asked to delay a little to make sure I was in, they asked to postpone the whole appointment saying they were stuck on another job.. so we re arranged for another day the same week.. and then ghosted me when I asked for clarification of timings on the new day(s)they had suggested we move the appointment to. I never heard and had to re list the job

Lewis and his team did a very good job with restoring bricks on my old Victorian house. Painted with all kind of paint by previous owner. Lewis knew exactly what is the best way to clean it off and the result exceeded my expectation. Very good re-pointing and prefect colour match of the mortar mixing 3 different types of sand I have never heard of. Also keeps you updated regarding progress and plan for the next day. Punctual and reliable. I am very happy with the result and will certainly use him again.

Ben contacted me promptly and gave me a quote over the phone - he came the following day to do the job and sent photos and a video of the work - everything was left clean and tidy. The price remained the same even though he had to replace some of the tiles. Happy to get the work done and would use Ben again.
