Craig got in touch quickly, gave me a rough estimate over the phone and answered all my questions. Surveyor arrived on time, gave instant quote. Price was good. George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. I would definitely use Igor again. Positives were: - friendly & helpful - accommodated all our changes - good standard of work - stuck to Budget and I believe he genuinely did everything he could to help make our project affordable - has come back to investigate minor issues even after final payment There were some inevitable delays. Some were entirely our fault though - only improvement for future projects would be earlier warnings if delays foreseen.

Firstly, the new composite decking was done extremely well by Alf and his team. Great communication from him and cannot fault anything thing him or his team did. But, since the decking was done there have now been two occasions that one of the decking lights have failed. 1st defect was a wiring issue which was resolved by the electrician Conor, the current fault has now been resolved. Hi my name is Chris , here is a little insight into myself and what I do. Firstly I would like to explain that I will treat your house with the utmost respect , I have plenty of experience working within people's homes and understand the stress it can cause,I will protect all vulnerable surfaces tidy up and generally try to minimise any disruption within your home . I will also only quote to carry out work that I am happy to do , I am not a "chancer" and if I'm not entirely happy doing something or if I don't think the desired results can be achieved you will be the first to know. I have been plastering since 2002 with the main focus of my work being (but not limited to) the domestic marketplace ie people's homes. From plastering whole extentions to fixing a patch where somebody has literally "put their foot in (through) it" over the years I have used my skills to improve , repair and modernise properties of all shapes and sizes . Covering unsightly Artex, installing of coving and cornice , rendering , pebbledashing , skimming of walls and ceilings to refresh tired plasterwork , soundproofing, plasterboarding, float and set are just a few of the services I am more than happy to provide . The bulk of my last 7 years have been spent working for a company carrying out work on behalf of insurance companies. My duties here as well as plastering included initial site visits to explain the process of works to the homeowner , investigation work to drains and foundations ,opening up inspection holes ,brickwork, carpentry, painting and decorating, roofing ,tiling draftproofing ,levelling floors , fitting and clearing gutters and much much more. I have alot of experience working with other trades that has given me a sound understanding of structures , the things that go wrong with them and how to put them right , correctly . I also have experience within the surface repair industry which means by using a variety of materials I am able to repair almost any hard surface around the home or even in the garden that has been damaged, chipped baths and sinks,shower trays wooden doors , worktops of various compounds, tiles, upvc window frames to name but a few . Moss Rid were great and very cheap. Arrived on time to do repair works to the roof that were not straight forward and in a difficult position. They even brought spare tiles with them in case mine could not be rescued. Executed repair work very quickly and efficiently. Roof is now watertight again. Fantastic service from Cristian - was quick to respond to the initial request, I sent him some photos and he quoted straight away, and then was here 3 days from making the request. Extremely pleasant guy who clearly knew what he was doing and from start to finish I couldn't be happier. He also fitted a chimmney cowl that I had whilst up on the roof as part of his original quote. If you want someone to do a great job, will leave the place spotless and DON'T want a dodgey roofer then he's your man.

Brothers roofing did a good job of refurbishing the entire roof by replacing the felt, installing new lead flashings and capping the firewall. The roof is now watertight during persistent rain. Only comment would be that additional expenses were incurred that were not part of the original quote for example to move a tv arial and a few other things. Overall I would recommend them.

These guys worked hard to complete a job that required a great deal of physical effort since there was no access for machinery for digging or earth moving. Cleaning up at the end of the work could have been better. Although the finished work looked very good we are still waiting for George to replace the paving slabs that he said he would replace which were broken in their haste to leave on completion of the job - Nothing but excuses so far, hence the average rating.
