After posting our request David called us back within the hour and offered to come out that night (althought it was gone 11pm) if we were without water. We were OK and arranged for him to come the next evening. He arrived promptly and carried out the work quickly and efficiently, explaining what he was doing and why. He charged exactly what he had quoted (which was extremely reasonable). I cannot fault his professionalism or his workmanship. Would use him again without a doubt, and recommend to others.

Welcome to McCartney building I am a multi skilled trades man that has been running for around 6 years. Tom was not hired on this occasion for my posted job. I tried to remove/close the job post, but a glitch means I can not do so. I can only place a rating. It would be unfair to rate Tom as anything less than 5 stars as he did communicate a quote but wanted 50% up front. If I had not found a tradesman with immediate availability, it may well have worked out differently.

The gentleman that came was very friendly, diagnosed the problem in seconds, went to his van, got some lubricant and fixed the lock. He was in the house for about 15 mins. He said he had come from Leicester which I know is about an hour away. Now this is where I'm not sure. He charged me £60 which seems a lot for a 2 minute job. Obviously petrol, it wasn't an emergency. Is that normal price?

Janis was late for his initial appointment but did contact me in plenty of time and advised a new ETA. He looked at the issue and advised me of the plan to rectify and the cost. He was flexible working around my availability. He completed the job but I noticed that there was an issue so I contacted him and he came back quickly to rectify and then checked the following day to ensure all the problems had been solved. I am completely satisfied with his work and will definitely use again.

Arrived when said they would, worked hard on putting up a new flat roof. Replacing an old sloping perspex one, not rained yet but I'm assuming all will be well with no leaks, thought good value for money, would recommend and already have !
