George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. I was very impressed with Ben & Pete from PJPS Construction, they were friendly, professional and stayed late to get the job finished ahead of the estimated timescale. Plaster work is great in the Kitchen and Master Bedroom. I would definitely recommend them.

Three guys (in late twenties/ mid thirties) came along and sorted out the broken slate plus the chimney flashing and flaunched it (new one on me it is putting mortar around the chimney pots and top of chimney but I looked it up and that is the correct term) as age had caused mortar degradation around chimney as well. He gives good prices, but in the end leaves you hanging. Luke replastered the whole house, but some of the work was sloppy. My living room wall is still covered with bumps, which he was supposed to fix before his dad redecorated. His dad painted right over them. This is just one of several problems. So then Luke asked for an early payment and that he would sort all the problems I raised and until then I can hold off 100 pounds. He has since buggered off. I call him, I now get voice mail. George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. -10 Do not use a guy from Grimsby called Ryan. Felted small shed roof, very few roofing tacks used and was not sealed down. No removal of old felting only patched up. Blown off within TWO Weeks was a total Botched Up Job, quoted £500 then told needed another £200 after job done...Just taken advantage of an elderly man.

These guys were fantastic, turned up on time and did a great job. Ended up staying quite late into the evening fixing a mystery plumbing issue ( no fault of theirs) and didn't leave until it was perfect. They even came back 20 minutes later because they thought they'd forgotten to tidy something up. Couldn't ask for better service. Really nice, friendly people, who get the job done properly at a reasonable price. Would recommend and will be using again.
