Charlie and his small team were quick to attend the site and assess the task. A very reasonable price agreed, the following day, sharp to time, the crew reported on site and completed the repair. The standard of workmanship was excellent, everyone who has seen the brickwork has commented how good it is, very informative and helpful. We had some extra costs where we had some unforeseen groundwork problems that weren't picked up on In the planning stage not the builders fault, costs were as predicted and very reasonable, our build of a Dutch barn style roof was a design build they had not encountered before and the result was brilliant. Weather was pants and would highly recommend John and his crew.

Our garage conversion took approximately four weeks and it is miraculous what Jon’s team have achieved in a truly professional, friendly and extremely helpful/tidy way. The builders - John and Alvin worked very well together; the electricians worked very quickly and tidily; the plumbers and kitchen fitters have given us a delightful utility room; the painters and decorators have left it immaculate. Couldn’t be happier with the work -would recommend Jonathan Carr’s Wye Valley Home Improvements to anyone.

Mr Rob Robinson has come to my house to repair a leak in the roof in August 2018. Since August 2018 we have had to call Rob number of times. The roof is sill leaking and he is refusing to refund the money even tho I have offered £100 for his trouble to date. I have further damage inside the house due to the leak.The communication is poor and no sense of customer care. At this stage following few attempts I do not trust Rob can fix the leak and I hope he can do the right thing and refund the money paid!

Hi, my name is Sheridan – new to Ratedpeople and would like to get more reviews. Friendly approach with clients to fulfil all their work. Involved in all aspects of building. We provide a quick turnaround on quotes at competitive rates. We always keep a clean and tidy site. Customer satisfaction is our main priority. Started in building Sept 2016. Previously a Production Engineer, but decided to change to a job that was more hands on with a good social connection. I chose building work – so I have a good balance of technical skills and practical skills gained over many year of working on Builds. My first two builds were complete builds from the ground up, so I had to seek out and get trades on-site to complete work I didn’t have the skills for. Over time I have carried out all sorts of work over the past few years from Setting out a site, Groundworks, Blockwork, Construction, Timber work/studding, Plaster boarding, Fitting kitchens and Bathroom, as well as Wooden Flooring and Tiling, and of course decorating. I leave plumbing, electrical work and plastering to the trades ( and have good contacts ) – but I have a good eye for detail but enjoy fitting kitchens, bathrooms, doors, skirting, and painting.

Couldn’t recommend Sheridan enough. We needed a radiator removed and a bathroom towel radiator installed. We were really impressed with his work and the outcome was so much better than we hoped. He was kind and really helpful as well.
