Reason for only a 3 star review is as follows. Didn’t rewire a light that said would as said shouldn’t be just plugged in to a socket and was included to be done in the quote. I messaged Chris as the lights timings not set up correctly even though he said he had to send me the instructions so I could do it and I saw him with the instructions but I never got any response so I had to spend time up a ladder sorting myself using guesswork. There were a couple of other issues but out of characters !!

Very nice people, thorough work. Had some snags but not surprising given it is a 1930s house with some bizarre wiring, but they took it all in their stride.

Overall service and communication excellent from this gentleman but would have liked floor covering to be used in the area being worked on to have avoided mess. Thanks very much for what you have done.

Ben and his colleagues arrived promptly and set to work straight away, completing the job in minutes and proving me wrong about how many people they needed for the job. They were pleasant, efficient and considerate at all times. Would get them in again.

John is a really nice guy, I'd love to rate his actual work but after chasing for quotes for a few weeks I should have realised. I've been constantly chasing for three months to get the work complete. No option but to return insurance cheque for payment for the work I can't get completed and go through the whole process again with someone reliable. Shame as i said he seemed a really nice guy!.

Took my money and never came back. He came over to fix my lights, then interfered with another light that worked completely fine. When this light stopped working he said it needed a new bulb, after replacing the bulb it didn't work so he said he would come back the next day. He didn't show up and hasn't answers my calls or texts and has my money!

Extremely Disappointed – Overcharged and Poor quality of work. I had a very disappointing experience with this plumber. Not only was I significantly overcharged for it, but the quality of the work was shockingly poor. The leak that he fixed appeared again after 1 week when called back I was given a quote of another £150 just to come over to identify issue I ended up having to bring in another professional to look into it and he confirmed the issue was the same, due to poor quality of work this happened agai

The guys negotiaited a sensible price, turned on time, at short notice, for a large and urgent garden landscaping job and completed the job well within time (as they brought in extra man-power). Very impressed. Tidyied up after them selves and completed all I asked for.I will be using them again.

Sam and his team did a great job with a full rewire of a house for me. They have done everything I asked at a reasonable price even with a couple of small changes during the job. I have also had two of my neighbours say how respectful they had been towards them, in regards to unavoidable noise and van parking. I would call STM first for smaller jobs in future, but also recommend them to family and friends. Thankyou all of you.

Quoted and arrived on time, we never proceeded with the work but there is no option to remove job or decline without filling this in. Have written to Rated people...the Plonkers didn't respond. Rated people t ssers

Very considerate, excellent workmanship, willing to offer sage advice. Other trades people engaged by Pete also very polite and highly competent. The job did run over the expected duration however Pete kept us informed as he progressed. Using Pete for the next job on the house is a no-brainer.
