Quoted me two hundred pounds as his day rate because we initially thought the job would take a day to complete. But the job was completed in two hours, and he still charged me two hundred pounds. The work he did wasn't particularly thorough; after he left, the skirting board needed another coat of paint, and I did it myself.

We hired Kris to replace the carpet with flooring in a two-bedroom flat. However, there were some gaps between the floorboards, and a noise could be heard when stepping on them. Kris recently offered to come back and fix the issue at no cost, taking two days to do so. He has shown a great level of responsibility, which is rare in this industry.
