We've all heard about those builders that start a job and then disappear leaving it half done, never to return. Well Tom is definitely NOT one of those. He and his very friendly team always worked hard, were flexible around our needs and even did some weekends to ensure the build finished as close to the agreed finish date as possible. No project is without its hiccups, but Tom and his crew were incredibly solution focussed. If you want someone that cares about their work, give Tom and A1 Builders a call.

Highly impressed with the fence installation! The team completed the job within just two days, ensuring everything was done efficiently and to a high standard. They also cleaned up thoroughly, leaving no rubbish behind. Fast, reliable, and excellent quality service. Highly recommend!

Very pleased with the work carried out on our garden. We had a large decking area built and it was worth every penny. Always showed up on time and hard working. Would highly recommend.

Great guys, very honest and reliable, hard working and tidy. Flexible to suit the job. Couple of quite slow days to begin with while they worked out best approach to the job, but they sorted problems rapidly thereafter, spoke to us daily about what they we're up to and plans for days ahead and kept to the quote they provided, even though there was in the end quite a lot more work than they were expecting! Really very happy with end result, will happily recommend them and use again in future!

Alex was a breath of fresh air to hire. He was very professional and did an amazing job on my garden. He provided new fencing, decking and also created a lawn of lush grass and a shrub border. I can't recommend him highly enough. Thanks Alex!

Having been let down very badly by the previous builder, we really needed help. We were most fortunate that we found Dave Minton; he was personable and easy to deal with from the outset, did what he promised and achieved a high standard of meticulous workmanship throughout. Timekeeping was spot on, the workforce was polite, cheerful and efficient at all times. Project management was fine, it was clear what was going to be done on site each day. We are delighted with the end result. Highly recommended.

Chris gave me an affordable quote and I could tell he knew what he was talking about. I hired him straight after his quote. On the day of work, he and his team were very punctual, professional and friendly. They cut my conifers to my exact requirements and cleared up after themselves. I have no hesitation is recommending them, in fact my aunt and her neighbour have now asked for quotes and I myself have asked for further quotes for additional work I'd like carried out. Would highly recommend. Fair price and Anthony was very reliable and helpful. Explained what parts we needed and what needed to be done to fix guttering after falling down. Very polite and courteous. We believe this company does various tasks wouldn’t hesitate asking him to do a job for us again or recommended colleagues.

Craig, Chris and the team provide an extremely competitive quote and have retiled our whole roof to an excellent standard. They also went above and beyond and fitted new, skylight window, gutters and facia for no extra Labour cost. Finally they were also great guys to get on with and also very professional
