Initially came on the date agreed, apparently spent a morning rotivating then gave up saying the soil was too wet. He never came back, though got a text yesterday that he can't finish the job due to other work commitments and he is selling the business. At least he didn't charge me for the rotivating he did do.

He charged me £800 for 3 hour's work. Got the front garden nicely sorted out but only removed the leaves from the back garden, leaving the weeds untouched. When I looked at his estimate, that was all he had said he would do, in spite of my agreeing verbally to £800 to sort out the whole garden. Be careful!
