Archie was fantastic. He deserves the five stars given. Not only did he come in at the budget provided, but communicated several times and promptly on text and email. He arrived on time and even though we had supplied him with what a keylock company had said we needed - it was wrong - he went out and got the correct locks that were needed for the job and never charged extra or anything. He sent us an invoice after the job and we paid him. Simple. What a joy to get 5 star service in the current climate.

Friendly, reliable and did a lovely job to fit a huge (3 metre +) verticle blind. I was so pleased with the work, I asked them to come again to put together a very awkward wall bed that swings down from a wardrobe. Reviews regarding the bed online, complained of it taking professionals 3 days to put together, but with Adrian and Michael's professionalism, they had it done within a day! Would definitely recommend - when my wardrobes get delivered, A.K K will be building those too. Very happy customer!

The guys carried out a fantastic repair of my bathroom roof within the time and budget agreed. They were very careful getting their equipment through the house as there was no rear access and did a good clean up after the job was finished. A bit about myself names pj from tipperary Ireland, in uk several years now with 20 years experience of qualified carpenter, builder, and plastering I hold a certified for level 6 master craftsmanship for carpentry. and a British gymism for plastering. ive two gold cscs cards and several certificates such as working at heights, harness trained ect. I'm also an incident controller trained to manage small to major accidents. I believe everyone has a calling and mines been in residential and commercial construction from small to big projects and everything in between and soon will help with yours. I take great pride in my work and dont see it as a job but more like living my best life. I've done my travelling overseas been to Australia and Canada for several big companies. George Bancroft and his team-mate Jimmy did an excellent job. Installed new gate-posts and re-hung heavy driveway gates. Gates now hang much better and close-up together better than they have for years. George and Jimmy worked hard and with good will, the price was right, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

We are a small friendly local building company with over 15 years experience. We specialise in residential renovations and extensions and are able to provide estimates for all works big or small.
Overall Paul and his team did a great job, the workmanship is acceptable, and the team were friendly, helpful and open to discuss what they were doing. However; it often felt like my job was being juggled with other more important jobs, I’ve been asked by subsequent trades how it took over a year to complete a job that should have taken a few months. There are several issues that Paul has refused to rectify, the roof leaks (which has just cost me £7k to replace). Overall I’m disappointed in the service.
We have been building and renovating property since 2005. Over the years, we have predominantly focused on our own projects, but more recently, we are offering our services to clients. Our experience covers all aspects of property works.
Not a bad job overall. A few negatives: changed shower screen spec without consultation with the client. Did not provide floor protection initially. After first day, did not clear up or remove large amount of dust. During evening of first day, water pipe joint sprung a leak. Turned out a push-on connector was not fitted properly. Client had to turn the water supply off. Some finishing not good. Outside tap left at an inconvenient angle.

I'm a registered contractor for a national housing association for Exeter and Plymouth as well as for Connells (estate agents) lettings division. Whether it's just changing a lock, unblocking a toilet, decorating one room or the whole house, or a refurbishment of the whole property - we can do it at competitive rates.
Mike and his team are really lovely people, nothing was too much trouble. Lots of comments from people passing and neighbours on how impressed they are with the speed of construction and the final results. They were very meticulous on leaving the site clean each day after work. I would definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to us them again.
