Tomasz repaired the wooden frame of a period window in my house. It was a please dealing with him. He was available almost immediately and job was finished as discussed. Overall an excellent experience, and I will certainly call on him again if I need him for any other jobs.

Excellent communication and extremely helpful with helping us buy the right products. We left the room fully carpeted with furnishings as Leo assured us he was able to complete the job on this basis. The job is perfect, left him and when l returned the old carpet had gone and the new laminate had been fitted. He also left the job clean and tidy. Highly recommend as we will definitely be using him again

Couldn't be happier with Patricio's work. He did an incredible job fitting my new bathroom and I'll be using him for all the work in my flat going forward. He knew his stuff while quoting and filled me with confidence and gave a very reasonable price. Before starting any work he covered my floor with plastic to protect it and was very careful not to scratch any walls. We are a small two man team including me (Gary) a carpenter by trade with 35 years experience and Jay my right hand man who is by trade a plumber with 25 years in the trade. We have a team of other trades we can call upon whenever necessary including electricians, plasterers, painters, tilers etc and can do any job that may come along. Although always being self-employed, I have been working for the same guy for the last seven years. I was originally asked to fit three kitchens on some posh flats in St Albans. This expanded to all the kitchens in the development and then on to all the 2nd fix carpentry, doors, skirting, architraves etc. In short I ended up staying seven years which only ended recently. I met Jay four years ago when he came to work on one of the jobs I was on. We liked each other immediately. We worked together for three years for the same guy (mentioned earlier) and then, a year ago decided to branch out on our own. We’d both decided that work had got a bit staid and repetitive and thought that we needed a new challenge to get the blood pumping again. I live in Leighton Buzzard and Jay in Milton Keynes so we tend to concentrate our efforts in finding work to a 25 mile radius of both these places although for the right job we can be flexible. We pride ourselves in our high standard of workmanship and professionalism and like to think that we offer real value for money.

Gary did a very good job of building a wooden structure for my pergola. His craftsmanship was very good and he was sensitive to the work that had already been done in the garden. It was, however a few inches shorter than requested. The brief was to build a 'sheltered area' but he did not return as promised to refit the canopy. He had to attend a funeral, so since this was the possible reason I would still recommend him.

Would not recommend, was inconsiderate, turned up at my home late at night twice unexpectedly. Did not paint neatly - didn’t use frog tape I provided - painted into my ceiling and skirting boards. Ruined my original fireplace by splashing paint on it. Left my home dirty with all the rubbish left behind. Did not have basic tools that a professional tradesperson would usually have - used my new hoover and left paint all over it and used it to hoover up wallpaper which made it jam.

I am very disappointed with the service received from SKK construction. Whilst Sean did come and give us a reasonable quote, he failed to deliver! He cancelled our first appointment 15 minutes before the set time, but rearranged another date for the following week. The second time he did not arrive and failed to respond to texts. This is an appalling service- if a trades person does not want a job, they should just say they are not interested. His failure to turn up has ruined plans for 2 weekends .
