Specialising in bathroom and kitchen transformations, we are experienced in all areas of the industry including office interiors, school washrooms, bespoke receptions, partitioning, tea points, structural alterations, garage conversions, etc .Nigel and Barry Lawrence are descendants of the Lawrence family builders of Maidstone; (R. Lawrence & sons) which began building and contracting in 1903. CSCS cards (Construction safety) and DRB checks held, plus all necessary liability insurances . City and Guilds trained at Bucks University College in cabinet making. Recommendation "We have recently employed NML Contracts to undertake work on our house of a challenging nature and for which the usual jobbing builder and plumber declined to quote. NML Contracts have demonstrated skills and initiative in dealing with the unexpected and produced a thoroughly satisfactory and pleasing result which has materially improved the attractiveness and serviceability of the house . The work included incorporating a porch into the lounge area , requiring an RSJ some 4.4m in length, In the course of construction t was found that the roof was concrete and was supported by the outer skin of the house, whereas the roof of the house was conventional timber and was supported by the inner skin. It was therefore necessary to use the RSJ to support the concrete and provide suitable timber supports for the main roof . This was done most expertly and quickly and was approved by the building inspectors. All energy conservation requirements were fully met . I hired NML contracts to refit my bathroom. The result is simply stunning. We’re so happy with it. Nigel was friendly, easy to work with and took great care to keep things neat and tidy during the works. We will use NML for a larger renovation job we have soon.
So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. I'm very polite and hard working and I'm looking to win jobs on here as a way of building my company and gaining clients through reputation. I'm new to this site and I'm willing to put the effort in to get the jobs done right and honestly. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.
We take on most of interior house jobs.Including kitchen and bathroom fit.Plumbing,flooring,painting. Carpentry jobs.All small jobs also considered. Home maintenance and handy jobs. We do Plastering as well as exterior render and painting.
