George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. First class, was contracted to fix a barn roof, has ended up with entire new build contract, due to good advice and service. Honest and keeps me in the right direction as I am on my own doing a new build, employees very good and great at adapting ideas to create what you want with tight budgets. Initially looked like a good job. Very pleasant and polite friendly team. Unfortunately the edging added to the roof came off in part. A swift return to repair but didn't last more than a day before it fell off again. After a week of calling, texting, voicemail and email, no response has been received to arrange a revisit to make the works right under the two year warranty provided.

Alfred offered a proper, written quote which was good value. He and his team did the work a few days later. They did an excellent job and cleaned up well afterwards, I was aware my ridge tiles and gable end needed attention and the quote for those were good value and the work was done at the same day. There was no pressure on me to have the work done. My house is nearly 50 years old and nothing has been done to the roof in all that time. I highly recommend Alfred and his team.
